Introduction of tripod polishing fixture:
UNIL-0PO1 tripod polishing fixture is suitable for TEM and SEM sample preparation of various materials, such as semiconductor materials (cross-section, plane), ceramic materials, metal materials, composite materials, etc., shortening the time of ion thinning. The rear micrometer head of tripod polishing fixture allows radial or axial (wedge) angle adjustment in the sample. The non-rotating micrometer head ensures that the sample foot rate is higher than the two rear feet. Parallel aluminum blocks can be used for leveling (before grinding). The cross section and locking rod are connected using a cam locking system (no tools required), which can be quickly and easily disassembled for sample inspection and precise repositioning during the entire polishing process. Because the tripod polishing fixture has a small surface area in contact with the abrasive, the planarization time can be quickly reduced.
